Our Roots

Counseling and Psychotherapy Centre knows that our strength lies not only in the words we stand by, but most importantly through the actions of our initiatives. We as organization realized that by working together we could overcome our challenges much more efficiently, and that is why we ultimately decided to launch Counseling and Psychotherapy Centre.' Dr. M.B.S. Niranjala Fernando is a psychologist, counselor and therapist, also known as multi-talented woman. She is the FOUNDER, CHAIRPERSON; Administration & Training Director of Niranga Academy of Arts, and NAA Child Protection Project Sri Lanka. NAA Academy is an Academy of Arts, Humanities and psychology studies. It presently provides Professional / Psychological Counseling for Youth and adults, Art therapy for children, Mindfulness Meditation, Music therapy and Humor therapy for elders to promote overall health and wellness. NAA also has “Diploma in Psychology and Counseling" which registered under The Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission. Child Care training also provides for Public Awareness.'
